What this theme is, and is not

These tools are reference works. They document what a place is and does, and how forces are organised. They are compiled entirely from open sources — government open data, CC0 and CC BY research databases, public registers, and open community sensor networks.

They carry no targeting material of any kind: no aimpoints, no vulnerability or hardening assessment, no weapon-to-target reasoning, no strike planning — and nothing about private individuals. That line is deliberate and it decides what gets published here.

They also state their own limits out loud. Ships switch AIS off at will; military aircraft transmit at their discretion; receiver coverage is dense over Europe and North America and thin everywhere else. Absence of a track is not absence of a flight.
