Privacy Policy
In plain English: we collect almost nothing. SpecEnvoy's tools run in your browser and keep whatever you create on your own device. There are no user accounts, we don't use tracking cookies, and we never sell your data. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics only to see rough, aggregate traffic.
1. What we collect — almost nothing
- Your data stays on your device. Tools store what you create (progress, settings, weight logs, notes, imported files, and so on) in your browser's local storage / IndexedDB, on your device. We do not receive or hold it.
- No accounts. We do not currently offer user accounts, so we do not collect names, emails or passwords. If we add optional accounts later, we will update this policy first and make any sign-up clearly opt-in.
- Cookieless analytics. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless web analytics (via Cloudflare) to understand aggregate traffic — such as page views, approximate country and referring site. There are no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no individual profiles.
- Standard server processing. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes ordinary technical information (such as your IP address) as needed to deliver and secure the site, as any website host does.
2. Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Some tools use your browser's local storage to remember your settings and progress on your device — that information is not sent to us.
3. How we use information
We use the limited, aggregate information above only to operate, secure and improve the site. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Sharing
We do not share personal information, except for the technical processing carried out by our infrastructure providers (for example, Cloudflare) to run the site, and where required by law. If you download one of our apps, the download is served by GitHub under their own terms and privacy policy.
5. Your data & your control
Because the data our tools create lives on your device, you are in control of it: you can view, export (where a tool offers it) or delete it by clearing that tool's data or your browser storage. We cannot access or delete data we never receive.
6. Children
Some of our content is intended for learners of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the tools are local-first and do not require an account. [For legal review: if accounts, uploads or any personal-data collection are added, assess COPPA (US), UK/EU age-of-consent and GDPR-K obligations.]
7. International users
The site is available globally and is served by providers that may process technical data in other countries. By using the site you understand that ordinary technical data may be processed outside your country.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here. If we ever begin collecting personal information (for example, with optional accounts or payments), we will update this policy before doing so.
