Most of us only learn what cancer is when someone we love is diagnosed. This is a calm place to understand it beforehand — pick a cancer to see the organ where it begins, and read, in plain words, what it is, how it shows up, how it's found and treated, and an honest word on outlook and support.

Every cancer here is shown on the organ where it begins. The most common ones sit on real, anatomically-accurate 3D organ models; a few organs those don't cover are drawn by hand. Everything is written to be understood by anyone — and to be read with hope.
