How to talk to Risa
A little guide to the guide: what to say to her, what she can do for you, and what happens (and doesn't happen) with your words. She understands what you mean, shows you around, and remembers you.
Watch her first
Three looks, one soul — pick whichever you like on her page. These tours run through her states (listening, thinking, speaking) and every mood at two intensities; watch the ring around her light up as a feeling ramps:
Just say what you're after — in your own words
You don't have to guess her exact words any more. Risa understands what you mean, not just keywords — so ask the way you'd ask a friend:
Talk out loud — and let her talk back
🎙 Speak to her. Turn on her ears below the chat, allow the microphone, and just talk — English or 中文. Your words appear as you speak, and you can tweak them before sending. Your voice stays on your device — it's never sent to a cloud.
🗣 Hear her. Switch on her voice and she'll read her English replies aloud in her own warm voice, her mouth moving with the sound. (中文 replies use your browser's voice for now.)
Both are optional one-time add-ons that run right in your browser — nothing you say, or she says, is uploaded. (There's also a small experimental chat tucked away for computers, if you're the curious type.)
What happens to your words
Nothing you type or say here is uploaded, logged, or sent to any server — there isn't one in the loop. Her memory of you lives in this browser on this device, visible and erasable by you. The only time anything downloads is when you choose to turn on an optional extra (like her voice). That's not a promise in a policy; it's how she's built.
Where she came from
Risa started as a shy June 2026 experiment called Rizou — we keep the original preview archived, and you can meet her properly on the blog.
