Risa understands you now — not just your keywords
Published 8 July 2026
Our little guide, Risa, just got much better at understanding what you actually mean — say it however feels natural, on any phone, and still entirely on your own device. (There's a 中文 version of her too.)
Before: you had to guess her words
Risa is your guide to everything on SpecEnvoy — a hundred-and-something tools, games, music pieces, galleries and more. To find something, you used to have to more or less say its name. "Weight tracker" worked; "I want to get in shape" often didn't. "Piano" worked; "teach me to play something" fell flat. That's the old way search works: it matches words, not meaning. And nobody should have to guess the magic word.
Now: just say what you're after
Risa now grasps the meaning behind what you type. So all of these just work:
- "I want to get in shape" → she brings up the Weight Tracker.
- "teach me piano" → the piano through the ages.
- "a game for two people" → a two-player game to grab a friend for.
- "I want to make music" → the beat maker.
- "learn Chinese" → the whole Chinese-learning set.
You don't need her exact vocabulary any more. Ask the way you'd ask a friend.
Two languages, two homes
Risa speaks — and now understands — English here on this site, and 中文 on her 中文 site. Ask her in the language of the site you're on, however feels natural. (Start typing 中文 here and she'll gently point you to her 中文 page, where she's at home.) More languages will follow.
When she doesn't have something, she's honest — and helpful
We're a small place; we don't have everything. Ask for something we don't offer — say, chess — and instead of a robotic "I didn't understand," Risa now does the friendly thing: she offers the closest thing she does have, or points you toward what she's good at (learning, playing, data, making things), and if it's really not her department she simply says so warmly and asks what else you'd like. Never a dead end, never a loop.
She remembers you a little better, too
Tell Risa your favourites and she keeps them (on your device only, as always). Now, if you mention your favourite food in English one day and in Chinese another, she knows it's the same favourite — no more split memory across languages. And there's a new private mode: say "don't remember this" and she'll happily just chat without keeping anything, until you tell her otherwise.
The part we're proudest of: it's still all on your device
Here's the quiet miracle. This new understanding runs entirely in your browser, on your own device — nothing you type is ever uploaded, logged, or sent to a server, because there is no server. It's a tiny helper that lives on your phone or computer. And unlike big "AI" features that demand a powerful graphics chip, this one runs happily on an ordinary phone. It's optional and free: a small one-time download turns it on, and after that Risa just gets you.
That's the whole SpecEnvoy promise, kept: genuinely useful, genuinely private, genuinely free. Nothing to sign up for, nothing watching over your shoulder.
